The Crown Sconce

Personal Notes: My good friend Bill Giese, famous bowl turner, creates beautiful designs with segmented pieces of wood. Bill says that what is unique about his designs is that he has figured out how to put curved patterns in his bowls. When he told me that, I challenged myself to try to come up with my own curved pattern. The Crown design is the result! I went on to use the same design in other pieces, including the Flame Vase.
